Privacy Policy

What we collect. What we don't.

We run a small operation, and we collect as little as possible. This page explains exactly what data we gather when you visit wisemindcraft.com or buy one of our products, what we do with it, and who else touches it.

Effective April 24, 2026
Section 01

The short version

If you just want the headline and not the full document, here it is.

In a nutshell

We collect your email address when you buy or subscribe, basic order information from Stripe, and minimal technical data needed to run the site securely. We don't sell your data. We don't run advertising trackers. We don't share your information with anyone except the service providers we need to operate the business (payment, email delivery, hosting).

If you want the detail, keep reading. Everything below expands on that summary.

Section 02

What we collect

Here's every category of information that touches our systems, and why we have it.

Email address
We collect the email you provide at checkout or when you sign up for a list. Used for: product delivery, receipts, updates, and support communication.
Name (optional)
If you provide a name at checkout or on a form, we store it. Used for: personalizing emails and support replies.
Payment information
Card details never touch our servers. Stripe handles them. We receive: a Stripe order ID, the amount, currency, country of the card, and the billing email. That's it.
Account credentials
If you create a buyer account, we store your email and a hashed password (never the plain-text one). Used for: authenticating you when you log in.
IP address and request logs
Our web server records the IP address, timestamp, and URL of every request, along with standard HTTP headers. Used for: security, rate limiting, and diagnosing technical problems. Logs rotate on a rolling schedule and aren't retained indefinitely.
Theme preference
If you toggle light or dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser using localStorage under the key ssk-theme. That data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.
Email engagement data
If you open one of our emails or click a link, our email provider (Amazon Simple Email Service) records that event. Used for: understanding which updates land and which don't, and for honoring unsubscribe requests.
Support tickets
When you contact support, your message, email address, and any attachments you send are stored in our Zendesk ticketing system. Used for: resolving your ticket and improving our documentation.

We don't collect your location beyond what's implied by your IP address, we don't collect your social media profiles, and we don't run fingerprinting scripts.

Section 03

How we use your information

We use what we collect for a short, specific list of purposes.

  • Delivering what you bought. Sending you the download, the receipt, login instructions, and access to the files
  • Keeping you informed about updates. When we ship a new version of a skill you own, we email the download link to the address on your receipt. This is a product-delivery function, not marketing
  • Responding to support tickets. Your message, account info, and any screenshots you share are used to diagnose and resolve your issue
  • Securing the site. IP addresses and request logs help us block abuse, detect suspicious behavior, and keep the site responsive
  • Preventing fraud and chargebacks. Basic order information helps us verify transactions and dispute fraudulent chargebacks
  • Improving our products. Aggregated, de-identified patterns in support tickets and update engagement help us prioritize what to fix or expand next
  • Complying with the law. If a court order or a legitimate legal request requires us to disclose information, we do so in line with applicable law

We don't use your data for anything outside this list without asking first.

Section 04

Third parties we rely on

We don't operate every piece of infrastructure ourselves. These providers handle parts of the job, which means some of your data passes through their systems to reach us or reach you. Each one has its own privacy policy, which we recommend reading if you're curious.

Stripe (payment processing)

Stripe handles every card transaction on wisemindcraft.com. Your card information is sent directly to Stripe and never stored on our servers. We only receive Stripe's confirmation that the payment succeeded, along with your billing email, the amount, and an order ID. See Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

Amazon Web Services (email delivery)

We use Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) to send transactional emails, delivery emails, and update notifications. When you receive an email from us, SES is what moves that message from our system to your inbox. SES logs delivery status, opens, clicks, bounces, and complaints. See AWS's privacy notice at aws.amazon.com/privacy.

Hostinger (web hosting)

wisemindcraft.com runs on Hostinger's shared hosting infrastructure. Hostinger's servers host the site files, the database, and the logs. See Hostinger's privacy policy at hostinger.com/privacy-policy.

Zendesk (support ticketing)

Our support channel runs through Zendesk. When you contact us, your email, name, message, and any attachments are stored within Zendesk's systems. See Zendesk's privacy policy at zendesk.com/company/agreements-and-terms/privacy-notice.

Anthropic (Claude, where our skills run)

Our skills are installed into your Anthropic Claude account. We don't share your data with Anthropic, but if you use our skills inside Claude, your interactions with Claude are governed by Anthropic's own privacy terms. See anthropic.com/legal/privacy.

Section 05

Cookies and local storage

We use a minimal amount of client-side storage. Here's exactly what.

  • Theme preference (localStorage, key ssk-theme): stores whether you've chosen light or dark mode. Never transmitted to us
  • Session cookies (when you're logged in): a standard, server-side session identifier that keeps you logged in as you move between pages. Deleted when you log out or your session expires
  • Security cookies: small, short-lived cookies used to prevent cross-site request forgery and similar attacks

We don't use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party analytics trackers at this time. If that changes, this page will be updated before the change takes effect, and registered buyers will be notified by email.

Section 06

Analytics

As of the effective date of this policy, we don't run any third-party analytics platform on wisemindcraft.com. That includes Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and similar services. We may add a privacy-respecting analytics tool in the future (for example, one that aggregates by page without tracking individuals), and if we do, we'll update this policy and this section with the specifics.

Section 07

Marketing emails

If you opt in to our list, we may send you emails about new products, tutorials, or announcements. You can unsubscribe from any of those at any time using the link at the bottom of every marketing email.

Transactional emails (receipts, delivery, support replies, product updates for things you've purchased) aren't marketing. You receive those because you bought something or asked us for help. If you want to stop receiving transactional emails, the path is to close your buyer account, which also revokes your access to the products. Reach out to support if that's what you want.

Section 08

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to run the business and comply with the law. In practice:

  • Buyer account data is kept as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after (typically 12 months) in case you come back or need support on a past purchase
  • Financial records (order history, amounts, dates) are kept for at least seven years, as required for tax and accounting purposes
  • Support tickets are kept inside Zendesk for at least three years for reference
  • Server logs rotate on a rolling schedule, typically 30 to 90 days, unless preserved for a specific investigation
  • Unsubscribed email addresses are kept on a suppression list permanently, so we don't accidentally email you again

If you request deletion of your data (see Your Rights below), we'll honor it to the extent we're not legally required to keep the record for tax or compliance reasons.

Section 09

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights regarding the personal information we hold about you. Regardless of jurisdiction, we extend the same core rights to every user:

  • Right to access. You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Right to correction. You can ask us to fix inaccurate or outdated information
  • Right to deletion. You can ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements
  • Right to portability. You can ask us for a machine-readable export of your data
  • Right to opt out. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time, and object to specific uses of your data
  • Right to non-discrimination. Exercising any of these rights won't affect your access to the products you've purchased

To exercise any of these rights, open a support ticket at the address below. We'll verify the request comes from you (usually by confirming your buyer email) and act on it as promptly as we reasonably can.

Section 10

International users

Wise Mind Media operates from the United States. If you access the site from outside the US, your information may be transferred to, processed in, and stored in the US or in the countries where our service providers operate (primarily the US). By using the site or buying from us, you consent to that transfer.

We apply the core rights above globally, regardless of which specific regulatory regime applies to you. If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with specific privacy rights, you keep those rights in addition to what we offer everyone.

Section 11

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the data we hold. Passwords are hashed, not stored in plain text. Credentials for third-party services are stored outside the web root. Connections to the site are encrypted by default using TLS. Access to our systems is limited to the operator.

No system is perfectly secure. If we ever experience a security incident that affects your data, we'll let you know in accordance with applicable law, including timing and scope.

Section 12

Children

Our products and services are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction, if higher). If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us information without your consent, contact us and we'll delete the record.

Section 13

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices change, when new services are added, or when regulatory requirements shift. When we make a material change, we'll update the "Effective" date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, post a notice on the site or email registered buyers.

Continued use of the site or the products after the updated policy takes effect means you accept the updates. If you don't accept them, stop using the site and contact us about your options.

Section 14

Contact

Privacy questions, data requests, and concerns all go to the same place as everything else: our support channel. Leave your buyer email, a clear description of your request, and any context that helps us verify your identity. We'll respond as soon as we can.
